Qualified Counsellor Placements

Chichester Counselling Services is offering counselling placements to qualified counsellors who would be interested in working under psychodynamic supervision.  These placements offer:

• quality supervision
• client hours towards accreditation
• wide range of client work
• collegiate environment
• subsidised CPD

Counsellor profile

We are looking for qualified counsellors who have:

• at least 100 hours of supervised client work
• satisfactory references
• an interview, including meeting with a supervisor
• reasonable availability for client work and supervision
• a psychodynamic component in their development as a counsellor, either
  1. through their course or
  2. experience of psychodynamic supervision or
  3. experience of psychodynamic personal therapy

   

Chichester Counselling Services is a large counselling agency with a good reputation for long-term open-ended variable-cost client work, its own BACP Accredited Counselling Diploma course, and an extensive CPD programme of seminars and specialist trainings for qualified counsellors.

The placements involve a caseload of 2 - 4 voluntary clients.  Free weekly group supervision is provided.  Counsellors benefit from some reduction in CCS CPD programme fees.  Insurance is provided, and a contribution to travelling costs of £30 per quarter available.
